Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a beautiful day here in Louisiana. I woke up to a beautiful pair of earrings and cards from Maggie and Chuck. We went to church with my Mom, Dad and sister then to L'auberge for a delicious brunch. Chuck, Maggie and I spent the afternoon at Sam Houston State Park riding bikes and watching Maggie play on the playground. I had a wonderful day!

Chuck's 30th Birthday Party

Chuck's 30th birthday was Sunday, May 2. So of coarse I had to throw him a birthday party for turning the big 30! He told me he did not want a big surprise party so I respected his wishes and had a small party with some family and friends. Kim, Gary, Grayden and Justin, Andy and Chelsea came from Texas. Brent, Veronica and their three boys came all the way from Florida. Gary, Becky, Erin and Adam, Clay, Lacey and Taylor all came to celebrate with us. We all had a great time.
