Baby Names

Well we finally decided on a name for our little guy.
Mason Charles
We had talked about a few names before deciding on Mason. This is definantly our favorite name. If Maggie was going to be a boy we were going to name her Mason Charles, so I guess the name stuck with us. We are so excited to meet our sweet little Mason.

We signed Maggie up for dance class. She will be taking an hour long class that includes tap, ballet, and acro. The class starts on Tuesday, September 6th. I'm so excited to see Maggie in her cute little leotard, ballet shoes and tap shoes.

23 Weeks

As of tomorrow I will be 23 weeks. This pregnancy seems to by flying by. I can't believe I am already more than half way through it. I had a doctor appointment yesterday and had another ultrasound because at our 19 week appointment baby boy was facing my back and he couldn't get good measurements and a good view of his organs, so he wanted to make sure everything was looking good. Baby boy is weighing 1 pound 2 ounces and is 12 inches long. He is moving a lot now, usually when I sit down to relax or go to bed he starts moving like crazy. Every time I tell Chuck he is moving he comes to feel my belly and then baby stops moving. Maggie is so excited to have a baby brother! She talks about him all the time.
17 weeks left!

Defiantly a boy.

Baby Norrow

We are expecting!
We are so excited to be adding to our family and I can't wait to meet my little peanut. Maggie is very excited to be a big sister and she is telling everyone about her little brother or sister that is on the way. I am 9 weeks and am due on December 10th. I'm feeling a little nauseous but my sweet hubby bought me sea bands and they definitely work. I have been feeling a lot better the past few days. Other than a little nausea I am completely exhausted and am having a hard time staying awake past 8:00 most days. I'm looking forward to getting through the first trimester.

Honorary Grandparent

My nephew, Grayden, was having Grandparents Day at his school. But all of Grayden's Grandparents live in Michigan, so Kim (my sister-in-law) called me and asked if I would be his "Honorary Grandparent". Of coarse I said yes and I was so excited to go to Grayden's school and see his classroom and all his cute little friends. The Grandparents party was during the week so Chuck stayed home to work. So Maggie and I packed up and headed west all by ourselves!
Thursday we picked Gary up from work and after all his co-workers awed and laughed at how cute and funny our kids are we went to the Children's Museum. They had a blast! Friday morning was the Grandparent's Day party. We had a snack and Grayden showed me his classroom. Maggie had fun too. It was so cute!

Ready to get Uncle Gary/ Daddy.

September

For Labor Day weekend the Sommer's came over to spend the holiday with us. Sunday we had a cook out with Dapa, Mickey and Nannie. We set up the pool for the kids to play in while Chuck barbecued some delicious beer-butt chicken. It is literally the best chicken I have ever had! Good job honey :) We had a nice relaxing Sunday. Monday Gary had to go back home to work, so Kim and Grayden stayed a couple more days. Tuesday Kim and I took the kids to Chuck-E-Cheese for some pizza and games. We had so much fun!

Last weekend we took Maggie to play Putt Putt golf. She had so much fun swingin her little putter. She even got a hole in one! Saturday we drove to Lafayette and went to the zoo. We had a great family weekend!

What a cutie!

A Weekend with the Sommer's

Friday we went to Houston to spend the weekend with Gary, Kim, Grayden and Justin. We got there early so we could go out to dinner for a friends birthday. We went to Kona Grill ( I think that is what it was called), the food was great, the service not so great, but we had a great time anyways.
Saturday we went to an indoor playground, called The Stompin Ground. Maggie and Grayden loved it! They started out in the toddler area, then got bored. So we (me and Kim) took them in the 3 and up area. You should have seen Kim and I climbing up the rope ladders, crawling through the tunnels, and going down the slides! It was so funny! I wish I would have taken my camera in with me.
Sunday we went to the Aquarium. The kids loved it! Maggie was very excited to see the sharks! We had a great weekend! We love you guys! See you soon!
